Falcon Ridge Asheville Partnership

Real Estate Developers, George Ryan and Jim Paradis have teamed on many successful commercial and residential projects, but have found the opportunity at Falcon Ridge to be the most unique and promising. This particular piece of land with panoramic views within the city limits of Asheville grabbed their attention right away. Says Ryan, "We knew we had a chance to develop a community that may very well be the last of its kind. It was very important to us that it be done right." George Ryan

A native of southern Indiana, George is a residential contractor and developer currently residing in Naples, Florida. After graduating from Purdue University and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin, George continued the construction legacy begun by his grandfather and father. His projects have spanned from Indiana, Kentucky to Florida. It was in Florida that George teamed up with Jim Paradis on several commercial and residential projects. George and his wife, Jean, have two children and enjoy the beauty and recreation found in Western North Carolina.

Jim Paradis

Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, and currently residing in Naples, Florida, Jim and his wife, Michelle, are enthusiastic about the Western North Carolina lifestyle which has led them to select the Asheville community for a retirement/summer residence. A graduate of the University of Virginia with a Master's degree from Indiana University, Jim began developing properties in Telluride, Colorado in 1979, including The Graysill Condominiums and the Lulu City Condominiums. After moving to southwest Florida, Jim started Paradise Homes of Naples, specializing in custom homes and remodels. In 1994, Jim teamed up with George Ryan, and their collaboration has resulted in the successful development of residential neighborhoods as well as medical and office condominium projects.
